looking for some advice on the Leak Trac. About half the vinyl pools here in my part of Australia have tiled/slate or concrete steps or swimouts.

The LeakTrac is excellent for finding the holes except when you can't insulate the swimouts. I have to either dive the pool or pump out the water to below the bottom extrusion before i get no interference from the earthing of the swimout.

Has anybody found a way to insulate the swimout? I thought a sheet of plastic across the swimout would work except i have not found an 'underwater' tape or a glue that leaves no residue, to hold the plastic over the steps.

Any ideas?
