I bought a hydrophone to go along with my XLT 30, but when I plug it in, it just buzzes.. I tap against it, or blow into it and hear nothing... any ideas, or just got a bad one?

If you didn't buy the XLT30 from us it will not work with the Hydrophone. We have Fisher make a special XLT30"H" version for use with the Hydrophone we produce. If you did buy the XLT30 from us please call so we can better diagnose the problem.
