I have been asked to find a leak in a Koi pond. Each fish costs about $3,000 and he has nine of them. Will the electric current bother the fish? and Can the Leak Trac 2000 find a leak that may be behind large stones and rocks?
Dont know about the effect of the electrical charge on the fish. The customer may have a set up to remove the fish while you scan. Is the pond lined
or concrete? Do rocks come down into the pond from the surrounding area, if they do, they will be a ground source and the scanwill be difficult.

Thanks Rob for your response. I tested it on my frieds pond and it didn't seem to bother the gold fish. I can see how stones and rocks might be a
source of interferrance.

if one ends up belly up after you search for the leak, dont think he wont come after you to replace that fish (s). I would have him remove the fish at his cost. why put yourself in that position.
