LT2200 not working
We have an LT2200 that doesnt work anymore.
When it is out of water the grey box works fine (you can hear noise). When we connect everything and put it in the water, it doesnt work. What could
be the problem? Is there a service manual to see common troubleshooting procedures?
Thank you in advance for your help.

are you using it in wireless mode? try using the hard wire option and see if that helps. Common problems are grounding and getting a good one. check
the batteries in both units.

Check every batteries for strenth and corrosion on contacts.
It is absolutely most important to prevent moisture from effecting the unit, after every use be sure to leave the storage case open overnight in a dry
area, any moisture on the probe plug will prevent it from operating, moisture in the storage box will cause corrosion on the booster unit batteries,
also check the wire on the probe head, when the probe is dragged along the bottom or comes in contact with the deck (when laying on deck) tape it
before you wear thru the insulation on the wire.

(1) good clean connections
(2) proper battery voltage
(3) good earth ground
all the above are things that you have control over;
check and clean all electrical connections, use a electrical connection spray to draw moisture out.
always check the voltage of your batteries before using, batteries have a shelf life like most things. it's not uncommon to purchase partially
discharged batteries.
the most important thing is a good earth ground. dry ground is common all over the country due to shallow watering, ask the owners to soak an area
close to the pool overnight for grounding, look for plant roots as a placement. sandy areas are hard to get a solid earth ground in.
the rest has been said
good luck

Thank you all for your answers,
trackerm: I am using it in wireless mode, yes. What do you mean use the hard wire option? How can I do that?
I have checked all the cables again and changed the batteries with new ones. I ll leave the box open for a few days for the moisture to escape and see
what happens.
Merry Christmas to all of you!

there is a wire included with the lt 2200 that you plug from both the induction unit and the headphone unit.

Unfortunately, after checking all the cables and the connections the LT2200 is still not working.
Where can I send it for repair?
