Skimmer Screws
What can I use to isolate false readings due to skimmer screws.
I have tried Plumbers Putty and Heavy Plastic Sheet but am still getting ground from skimmer screws. thanks

i take it you are using a leak trac to find leaks. Do you dive the pool to find leaks? How do you make repairs.

Skimmer Screws
Yes I am using the Leak Trac 2200. I do dive every pool after to both repair and inspect all areas of the pool including gaskets etc. and dye test
them as well.

i just dye test the skimmer screws before i get into the pool. The water is pretty much static prior to entry and thats the best time to test them. I
have not found a way to block skimmer or any screws from the leak trac....

Most people disregard the readings they get from the skimmer screws after dye testing these areas. Others I have talked to use small suction cups (
the kind that would be used to hang signs on windows) to cover each screw.
