DYE DISPENSER(TIME SAVER???)

I TESTED THIS IDEA TODAY WITH POSITIVE RESULTS.USE A REGULAR HAND PUMP PRESSURIZED GARDEN SPRAYER TO DISPENSE LEAK TESTING DYE.I FOUND ONE WITH ALL PLASTIC FITTINGS AND PLASTIC WAND -ABOUT 24 INCHES LONG- WHICH ALLOWS ME TO REACH BOTTOM OF STAIR STEPS WITHOUT GETTING WET.I TESTED WITH JUST FOOD COLORING FOR NOW BUT PLAN TO USE ANDERSONS DYE LATER.I REALIZE THE NEED FOR SYRINGES TO PIN POINT AND WILL STILL USE.JUST THOUGHT ID SHARE MY IDEA.ANY FEED BACK APPRECIATED.

I use a 3/8" od clear tube hooked to a pole, squirt some dye in the tube and place the tube near the possible leak and blow the dye down the tube to check for leak.

I bought 30' of syringe tubing, cut a long length and run it through the push button hole on a 16' pole with some electrical tape. Works great in clear water and fast leaks.
